Details of a shell, one of my treasures

The intriguing shell in its totality

Next to eating them raw, I love photographing the texture of mushrooms.

A composite of the train station in Beernem, Belgium and the woods of Bulscampveld.

Faux flowers of Ikea do make a beautiful subject too.

Solid coconut oil molded to represent a wave.
Another faux ivy plant of Ikea

An interesting line of light coming in in a house in Milan, Italy.
How it started.
For a while I felt stuck and was not sure if photography was something I still enjoyed. I enrolled in another class to keep going, a business class for artists and found other creatives with each their own challenges.
An idea for accountability was quickly born out of our frequent meetings, in the manner of photographing or creating an image with a prompt of one or two words. Though hard in the beginning, I persisted and learned to enjoy myself again.
These are images I don’t professionally specialize in, therefore perhaps they were able to spark joy. Instead of rushing things, it was giving myself time to set up, experiment and in the end realize that I actually knew what I was doing and bite off the head of the imposter syndrome.
