HORSES

How it started.

Horses ignite the child in me. Equines have been in my life since I was a kid. I fought for every minute I could spend with them. I learned all about the breeds, the colours, the tack and so on.

As an adult, the relationship with the horses changes. I became more aware of its own conscience, emotions and language. I learned to trim their feet and about nutrition, how to reduce stress or keep the stress low altogether.

For CAP and BIT, equestrian magazines in Belgium and the Netherlands, I have both written and photographed many stories, mostly recreational, about housing, travel and natural horsemanship. For a few years now, I have been a patron of equine art collective Paard Verzameld.
