My greatest teacher turns 8

My boy Uban turns 8 today, in his lifetime a young senior.

He has been by my side since puppyhood and has been one of my greatest teachers ever since.

Some take aways:

1. Never expect something when you’re mad. Seek connection.

2. Do not care that the dishes are still there. Be mindful of what truly matters.

3. People love happy puppy mode. Be aware of your energy.

4. It’s up to you to state boundaries. But always respectfully.

5. Healthy food, curiosity and walking keeps you young. Keep at it.

6. Reward based attention outperforms punishment anytime. Focus on the good stuff.
